The associates investigate into traditional philosophical issues of art and culture, as well as problems of modern and postmodern aesthetics, axiology, and cultural studies with special emphasis on image culture and media aesthetics.

Topics of particular scientific interest are the philosophical and aesthetical dimensions of history of art and contemporary art; analytic and critical aesthetics; cultural and artistic values; social ideological and political functioning of culture and art; aesthetics and criticism; modern and postmodern philosophy of culture; cultural studies.
